This pandemic has brought a lot of changes and a lot of challenges into our lives. We’re juggling more balls than ever before, we’re losing people we love, and now, we’re missing the big gatherings and warm hugs that used to make the holiday season so magical.

In these difficult times, it can be easy to just resign to being stressed out.

But I wanted to share a quick story with you about how you can rise above stress during this pandemic and holiday season.

Yesterday, I got a text from my client, Rebecca. She’s a mother of two young kids, a wife, and a nurse. Like many of us, COVID has made her life a lot more challenging.

Rebecca reached out to me back in July, in the midst of a nervous breakdown, not sure how she was going to manage the additional stress of homeschooling, finding a babysitter, doing extra shifts, and still somehow taking care of her own health.

But yesterday, she texted me saying this:


Stories like Rebecca’s are why I started my coaching career. I was tired of watching so many big-hearted women sacrifice their wellbeing to take care of the world. Stressed out women are disempowered women. Stressed out women are unfulfilled women. And I want more than that for us.

I want more than stress for you.

So yes, we need to contribute, nurture, and be of service to those we love. And yes, our lives are going to be super busy, especially during a pandemic. But we don’t have to be stressed out in the process.
