Last week I was SO frustrated with myself.
We were heading into the first week of spring, and during this time I always do an amazing mind-body cleanse.
And yet for some reason, last week…I just wasn’t doing it.
I would wake up with the intention to eat one thing, and then I found myself eating something else.
I would tell myself I’d start the next day, but then I’d find another reason not to.
And this kept happening. Day after day after day.
Can you relate to this experience?
You know what you need to do, but you don’t do it. And you get caught in this vortex of anxiety, stress, and procrastination.
And then you invent negative stories about why you procrastinate.
“Ugh, I’m so disorganized, I’m so lazy, I have no self-control!”
But that couldn’t be farther from the truth.
In fact, all my procrastinating last week reminded me of the REAL reason we procrastinate.
And once I realized why I was procrastinating…then the solution was easy!
In fact, as I write this e-mail, I’m mid-cleanse, and feeling oh so squeaky clean!! (And proud of myself for getting back into my flow!)
