I get so many clients who come to me filled with self-disgust. They are so angry with themselves that they have not been able to achieve their goals. And when they feel this disgust and disdain, they punish themselves by diving into even more self-defeating behaviors. And then that’s followed by even more disgust. And the negative spiral continues on and on.
